Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Today is St. Patrick’s Day.  This day celebrates the arrival of St. Patrick in Ireland and the introduction of Christianity to the island.  The date, March 17, is the day St. Patrick died.

Today most of the world celebrates the culture and heritage of the Irish.  There are many parades and festivities, and much eating and drinking during the celebration.  Many people will wear green also.   The parade in Denver was advertised as the largest St. Patrick’s Day parade west of the Mississippi River.

We, the Colorado Traveling Ducks and our humans, wish you all a very happy St. Patrick’s Day.  Today we all are a little Irish.
